How to get Android Widgets:

AndroidWidget.info provides you with a wide variety of widgets. You can go to the top left Menu called “Android Widgets” and search for the ones you like the most.

How to download Widgets:

You have two options for dowloading widgets:

  1. Using QR Barcodes.
  2. Clicking on the Download button of the Widget’s page (this is the best option if you are navegating this site directly from an Android Device).

After choosing your widget you will be redirected to the Android MarketPlace site where you will have to press the Install Free button for the downloading/installing process to automatically begin.

How to add a Widget:

Note: You need to get the widget downloaded and installed before adding it.
You have to look for an empty space in your Home Screen, then make a long press (tap and hold) in that empty area. After that a menu will come up with different adding options to your Home Screen, you must to select the widgets option. Finally, you are taken to a list of widgets you can add to your Android Device.

How to remove a Widget:

It’s very similar to the actiong of adding one; long press (tap and hold) on the widget you want to remove. Once the widget is selected, drag it towards to the removing option on the screen.

How to uninstall a Widget (delete it permanently from your Android):

As stated before widgets are mini-apps and they are technically treated the same way as apps.
So, you must go to your Settings > Applications > Manage Applications, select the widget you want to remove and press the “Uninstall” button.
